World War III?

I am angered and appalled at what is going on right now in the world.

77 years after the end of the catastrophic World War II, which was led by a mad man’s anger, revenge and ego, we have one again at our hand.

Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin is a Russian politician and former intelligence officer who is the current president of Russia has left no stone unturned to rise and go on a rampage across to Ukraine, to claim the befallen Soviet Union glory.

He ironically claims that he is saving Ukraine from Ukraine itself, from Western powers, from NATO, and by keeping Ukraine close to home it’s offering them protection.

There are people dying, the civilians are in arms, families uprooted, basic life necessities unsure for, army tanks on the main road, missile in your apartment, I really think Putin you have chosen quite the opposite way.

This is not your world, with the rest of us just living in it, if it was Metaverse you could still have the ball game, but this is really a history none of us should be living or writing.

The world has enough problems at hand, I am only 22, going to be 23, and have lived through 9/11, 26/11, a great recession, multiple epidemics, a pandemic and I really don’t think war is what should be added to the menu.

As I write, I constantly fear what happens if I publish this, but I really had to get it out there.

All of this angst, all of this ego if it were just collectively put together to combat climate change, boost trade, improve medical infra, empower people, the world would be a better place.

I don’t know if we are fools to hope for a utopian world when our world leaders are in a race against time to make it a dystopian world.

But hope is what we do and I pray and hope that He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named leaves Ukraine in peace.
